Spreading knowledge and experience by using the right tools will sow seeds of good ideas.

The Youth Exchange program was put together by UNEP – UNICEF in order to enable youth to make more informed and environmentally conscious consumption decisions. The guide book, which included an easy-to-follow road map on how to achieve that goal, was published in 16 languages. In 2009, the guide was implemented to comply with the traditions and the life styles of the Turkish youth by Yeşil Adımlar Çevre Derneği (Green Steps Environmental Association) and Buğday Association and it was translated to Turkish. The book has been and is still being used by educators all around Turkey.

Buğday utilizes the 100% Ecological Farmers’ Markets as venues to educate visitors and school groups about organic and nature-friendly farming. The markets host ecology-themed workshops, seminars, films as well as concerts and art showings almost every week.
