Ford Otosan made the TaTuTa project possible by donating the rights of use to the Bugday Association of an all-terrain pickup truck; it has been and will continue to be indispensable to the TaTuTa team in terms of transport and communication with host farms in various regions throughout Turkey.

The ATLAS Geography and Discovery Magazine has supported the TaTuTa project with the film used to take photographs of host farms and their surroundings and by designing, producing and donating the use of the maps displayed in the printed and electronic TaTuTa Guide.

The Buğday TaTuTa Family

The Bugday Association for Supporting Ecological Living
While the Bugday Association became an officially registered Association in August 2002, the Bugday movement for which it stands began as early as 1991 in Bodrum, Turkey with a natural foods café and meeting space for like-minded, environmentally conscious community members. Since those early days up to the present the Bugday movement and team have been tirelessly active in raising environmental awareness, promoting organic agriculture, and generating models of healthy, fair and sustainable consumption.

The UNDP GEF-Small Grants Program supports non-government organizations world-wide which develop local solutions for global environmental problems. By providing financial and technical support to projects which focus on nature conservation and renewal while taking into account human welfare and local livelihoods, the SGP demonstrates that collective civic movements are capable of preserving the delicate balance between the needs of humans and the needs of nature. The SGP has provided support at every step for the Bugday Association’s “Eco-Agro Tourism and Voluntary Knowledge and Skills Exchange on Organic Farms” project (Ekolojik Ciftliklerde Tarim Turizmi ve Gonullu Bilgi ve Tecrube Takasi, in short, Ekolojik TaTuTa), including the creation and maintenance of this website.
